Countries offering visa-free access to Pakistanis: Here are the full details

Islamabad, Pakistan – For Pakistani passport holders looking to explore the world, a growing number of countries are offering visa-free access, alongside options for visa-on-arrival and Electronic Travel Authorizations (ETAs). While travel freedom for Pakistani citizens remains comparatively limited, several nations are making it easier to visit, particularly in the Caribbean, Africa, and Oceania.

According to recent reports, Pakistani citizens can currently travel visa-free to approximately 10-13 countries, with an additional 18-34 countries offering visa-on-arrival facilities. Furthermore, a few destinations provide e-Visa or eTA options for easier entry.

Key Visa-Free Destinations for Pakistanis include:

  • Caribbean: Barbados (up to 90 days), Dominica (up to 180 days), Haiti (up to 90 days), Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (up to 90 days), Trinidad and Tobago (up to 90 days).
  • Oceania: Micronesia (up to 30 days), Cook Islands (up to 31 days), Niue (up to 30 days), Vanuatu (up to 30 days).
  • Africa: Rwanda (up to 30 days).
  • Other: Montserrat (up to 180 days).

Countries offering Visa-on-Arrival or e-Visa/eTA options include:

  • Visa-on-Arrival: Burundi, Cambodia, Cape Verde, Comoros, Djibouti, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, Madagascar, Maldives, Nepal, Palau, Qatar, Samoa, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Timor-Leste, Tuvalu.
  • eTA: Kenya, Seychelles, Sri Lanka.

It is crucial for travelers to note that even for visa-free or visa-on-arrival entries, requirements such as a valid passport (with sufficient validity, often 6 months beyond intended stay), a return ticket, and proof of sufficient funds for the trip are typically mandatory. Additionally, the purpose of visit must align with the country's permitted visa-free or visa-on-arrival conditions, usually limited to tourism and not for work or business.

Before planning any international travel, Pakistani citizens are strongly advised to verify the latest visa requirements and entry regulations with the respective country's embassy or consulate, as policies can change without prior notice.
